Why I became a Beautycounter consultant

Today I am so excited to share all about why I decided to become a Beautycounter consultant! I have been with the company since February of 2019 and my biggest regret is not joining sooner.

As many of you know i am a DPT. Unfortunately, I acquired a very large sum of debt (as in…6-figure debt) from student loans. After I graduated from PT school and started working, I realized how big of a financial burden it was going to be to pay off these loans. Before I got a raise, almost half of my paycheck was going directly to my loans each month… yeah. Not fun!

I quickly realized I was going to need an additional source of income to help me pay down the loans faster and allow a bit more flexibility in my spending. I considered taking on a weekend PT job at a local hospital or nursing home, but feared the burnout that would come from working the same type of job 7 days a week. I was exploring many options, and then my friend Jessica told me about the Beautycounter business opportunity. With Beautycounter’s generous compensation plan, flexible hours, and virtual platform I knew I could fit this into my lifestyle. Working on a business Saturday mornings in my pajamas didn’t sound like a bad idea at all. Plus, the mission of Beautycounter was something that struck a chord immediately.

“The mission of Beautycounter is to get safer products into the hands of everyone.”

Yeah, I can get behind that. I already lead a clean and healthy lifestyle, and wanted to start making clean swaps as well as gain additional income, so I decided to join!

One of my first socials!

I have never had experience in sales, skincare, or makeup! I just had a willing spirit and determination to succeed in building this business. I am here to say that if you have those same qualities, YOU can succeed in it too. If you have interest in joining or questions you’d like to talk through, let’s have a conversation! I’d be more than willing to answer any and all questions that you may have. If you are ready to join, just head to http://www.beautycounter.com/join !
